Hi I’m Misty! When I’m not planning a Disney Vacation I’m hanging out with my family: snuggling my husband, watching my girls dance or cheer or chasing a toddler. I also love writing to encourage others, reading a great book, and I work in education.

My favorite Disney movie is Beauty and the Beast. It makes me want to read more books and learn to speak French. I want adventure in the great wide open....

My favorite Disney memory is watching my girls meet Anna and Elsa for the first time. They were 4 & 5 and were so amazed it brought my husband and I to tears watching them stand with their (then) favorite princesses. We’ve moved on a bit from princesses and onto Jedi’s and Wizards. We balance the light and dark side of the Force at our house and represent Hogwarts well too! We have equal parts Gryffindor and Hufflepuff so far.  I don’t know what my Hogwarts House is because I’m so afraid the Sorting Hat will put me into Slytherin that I refused to be sorted! It takes into account my choice too, right?

My favorite rides are: Peter Pan and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at Magic Kingdom, Tower of Terror at Hollywood Studios, Flight of Passage at Animal Kingdom, and Frozen Ever After at EPCOT.  I can’t wait to help you find your favorites!

When I am in a Disney park you will always find me wearing my favorite Disney gear and ears. And, likely in coordinating shirts with my family. My favorite thing about the Disney Dining Plan is that I get to try all the fun restaurants and something new every time. Because my meals are prepaid and there are so many options, it’s fun to try something new each trip. On every family trip to Walt Disney World, our family always dines at Chef Mickey’s for arrival night. Even if we can’t make it to a park that day, having dinner with the Mouse is a super fun way to dive right into the Magic of Disney. Shake your napkin and party along!

My favorite snack at the Walt Disney World Resort Parks is the Carrot Cake Cookie at Hollywood Studios. It’s as big as my face! Also, I never leave Disney without a Dole Whip.  And I’m on a mission to try all 6 kinds of Butterbeer at Universal Studios! Can you name them?

If I could have dinner with any Disney character it would be The Fairy Godmother! I want to be her when I grow up, for now, I just sprinkle magic on my clients’ vacations.
