My favorite nighttime show was Wishes. Happily Ever After (its replacement) is my new, current, favorite, just doesn’t tug on the heartstrings the same way as Wishes. I loved the classic tunes from the Wishes soundtrack.
Favorite food at Disney: Banana foster bread pudding at O’hana.
Favorite season to visit WDW: Christmas season (early December). I love the mild weather, plus the décor and atmosphere of the holidays.
When I am not planning a Disney Vacation, I am enjoying watching my kids on the baseball diamonds, basketball courts, track/cross country courses, Ninja zones, and soccer fields.
My #1 tip for a Dis vacation is to arrive to the parks at least 30-45 minutes before park opening. You’ll be amazed how much you can accomplish during the first 90 minutes the park is open!
Favorite Disney resort and why? I love the Polynesian Resort. It’s home to my favorite restaurant, O’hana, and offers spectacular views from the beach of my current favorite nighttime show, Happily Ever After. My oldest son can’t get enough of the Dole Whips, and my youngest son loves the tunnel pool slide through the volcano!
Favorite ride at each park: Magic Kingdom – Splash Mountain. Epcot – Soarin. Hollywood Studios – Rock N Roller Coaster. Animal Kingdom: Flight of Passage.
If I didn’t go to Walt Disney World, my next favorite destination would be Castaway Cay (Disney Cruise Line’s private island in the Bahamas), during a Disney Cruise of course!
The reason I am so enthusiastic about WDW. Walt Disney World is a place that has allowed my family to create many special memories together. Walt Disney World brings out the inner child in each one of us, immersing us into a fairytale land where we can escape the stressors of everyday life, while creating memories together we can cherish forever.
