Greetings, I’m Jessica Priem - rhymes with one of the Disney cruise ships - Dream. Some days that is what I feel like I am living too! I have been with Simply Enchanted Travel since 2016. I signed my contract on St. Patrick's Day to bring me much luck with this new adventure, which is curious, because I am not normally very superstitious.
When I was young I was a thrill seeker (just like my daughter!). My dad remembers the first moments of my first trip to Disney as one of slight disappointment because at first glance, I could tell there were no super coasters around. This however, quickly gave way to a new way to experience amusement parks, and vacations in general - immersion. To this day, I appreciate an immersive vacation no matter where the destination. I seek out the unique authentic experiences, and love to experience the world! I cannot wait for my own children to become old enough for us to experience an Adventures by Disney trip together!
I no longer seek out thrill rides, and if I had to ride one ride for 24 hours straight at Walt Disney World, it would be Toy Story Midway Mania. It is a game of skill (and maybe a little chance). I don’t think I have ever had the highest score in my car, but it is still a lot of fun to play/ride.
Food allergies in real life can be frustrating and frightening to deal with outside of your own kitchen. I can help you navigate your way through one of the most amazing places on earth to eat if you have a food allergy! I myself have a gluten allergy, and I have a kiddo who has some complex combination allergies as well. Disney chefs are amazing at accommodating your needs to not only keep you safe and healthy, but also in making sure you don’t feel like you are missing out on the eating experience that is unique to Disney. One of my go-to snacks while on property is the Mickey Ice Cream Bar. Cold, creamy, and just the right amount of chocolate for the Florida sun.
How young is too young? Maybe I am not the person to ask this question to...We took our youngest to Walt Disney World at just 8 weeks old while he was still nursing. So if you want to talk the ins and outs of the Baby Care Centers, I have a list for you! There are a shocking number of rides that an 8 week old can ride, as well as the bonus for the older kids that comes along with the Rider Swap system. No one felt that their trip was minimized in any way, and all of us thrived on the relaxation of leaving behind the real world for a little while.
