I’ve had a love of all things Disney and travel, as long as I can remember.  When the opportunity came to join Simply Enchanted Travel, LLC as a travel consultant, in June 2013, I could not pass it up.  I love helping people have a spectacular vacation! As a client I will get to know you, so it’s only fair that you get to know a little about me.

My Dream Disney vacation would be a trip to Italy with Adventures by Disney.   The country and the culture (and the wine!) intrigue me and I can’t wait to make this dream come true!

I vacation time after time at WDW because there is always something new to see or do.  WDW makes me feel comfortable and happy! I’m always planning my next trip. I will go with my kids, just my husband, a friend or alone.  It’s a great place visit at any age!

My favorite Disney resort is the Wilderness Lodge.  It’s the first onsite resort I stayed at. It was with my husband on our honeymoon.  It’s also the first resort for both my kids on their respective first trips. I remember walking into the resort for the first time and looking up.  The grandness of it, just took my breath away. There are so many great memories there.

My favorite part of helping plan a WDW vacation is showing my love for Disney to others.  To help other families make dreams come true is such a great feeling. Each family is so different that it is really fun to help them plan their vacation to fit them.  Plus I get to meet so many great people!

If I didn’t go to WDW, my next favorite destination is the Hawaiian island of Oahu.  It’s so relaxing. The beaches are beautiful. I’ve been lucky enough to catch a sunrise and sunset over the ocean.  The beauty of it is so amazing, one really needs to see if for themselves. We always leave sad because it’s over but we always have another trip planned in the future, even if it does take a few years.

Favorite time of year to visit Disney is any time of year!  There is always something special happening, all year round that each season is a different experience.   The food also changes with the seasons. I can have a lavender lemonade in the spring or a pumpkin churro in the fall.  Hot chocolate and gingerbread cookies are on the menu around the holidays! With so many places to choose from for meals, every trip my family picks a, new to us, restaurant where we can use our Dining plan table service credit.

My original favorite night time show was SpectroMagic!.  It was retired some time ago so I found a couple new ones to love!  Happily Ever After at the Magic Kingdom is just mesmerizing with the castle projections and firewords.  And Paint the Nite parade at Disney’s California Adventure has some great light up floats and music. You can’t help but smile and sing along.

My favorite ride in each WDW park is Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in the Magic Kingdom, Star Tours at Hollywood Studios, Test Track in Epcot and Flight of Passage in Animal Kingdom. Each is a completely different experience. It’s amazing that Disney can come up with so many ideas that suit just about everyone!

Universal Resort in Orlando, brings a whole different experience into my love of theme parks.  I will admit to being a big fan of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter areas. Taking the Hogwarts Express between Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios is purely magical. According to the Sorting Hat, my Hogwarts house is Gryffindor for the bravery my family has had in life. I proudly own a wand selected at Olivanders. Still waiting for my own personal pet owl.
